3rd Annual NJ Sharing 5K Run and Walk in New Providence.

The skies were sunny for the NJ Sharing Race.

On Sunday June 9, more than 200 teams raised over $640,000 in the third annual 5K Walk and USATF Certified Race. There were over 1,500 registered runners for the event.

The overall winner was Bryan McDonnell from Oakland, NJ with a time of 16:37.   The female winner was Alexandra Niles from Fairfield, NJ who was running for the team Betsy's Dash in honor of her mother that passed away in 2011.  Her mother's organs were donated to help save a life.

NJ Sharing Network offers donor family support and public awareness about the life-saving benefits of organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
