Santa Claus visited New Providence at annual Christmas Walk in New Providence.

Hundreds of local residents hit Downtown New Providence for the 40th annual Christmas Walk on Friday, Nov. 23.

Children of all all ages were anticipating Santa's arrival on the roof top of The Provident Bank building at 6 p.m. The crowd cheered as Santa appeared out of the dark skies. Santa was escorted down with the help of the New Providence Fire Department.

The New Providence High School Marching Band, which recently took home first place awards at state and national championships, provided holiday music as the crowd waited for Santa.
