Photos: Summit Rallies To Beat New Providence 48-45 in Thrilling Finish

Pioneers look to upset rival Hilltoppers in afternoon contest.

The Pioneers were on a three game winning streak as they traveled to play the Hilltoppers yesterday afternoon in Summit.  

The Pioneers took an 8-point lead going into halftime. Curtis Kyzima hit a 3-point shot at the buzzer to ignite his team going into half time. 

Summit stormed back in the second half to tie the game in the 4th quarter.  Summit was led by Senior Ba'Shawn Mickens who help lead the comeback with 15 points in the second half.  New Providence had a chance to the tie the game at the end of regulation.

Kyzima lead the Pioneers scoring with a team-high 17 points, followed by Tyler Curto with 13 points.

Mickens led the Hilltoppers with 23 points.
