Photos: Teachers Face Off At March Mayhem
New Providence Education Foundation hosts basketball game where the teacher and student roles are reversed.
All roads led to for March Mayhem Madness on Wednesday night.
Hosted by the New Providence Education Foundation, teachers from the NPHS, New Providence Middle School, Salt Brook Elementary School and Allen W. Roberts Elementary School competed against each other for bragging rights, while High School seniors served as the coaches and referees. In the end, the Green Team beat the White team, 67-66.
There were two basketball contests, including a free throw contest for students in grades K-6th and a Half Court Throw Contest for 7th-12th graders. The grand prize for each contest were tickets to a New York Knicks vs. New Jersey Nets game.

Buffalo Wild Wings sponsored a Hot Wild Wing eating contest at halftime for 7th-12th graders. The winner received a choice of a Knicks or Nets Jersey.
Mr. Hugo Barth, President of the New Providence Education Foundation, was the master of ceremonies.
