Salt Brook Students Win State Awards in National PTA Reflections Program

New Providence, NJ  (March 14, 2013)  Two Salt Brook School students, sixth grader Sahana Narayan and third grader Audrey Thompson, won awards at the state level in the national PTA Reflections program.  Sahana received an Award of Merit in the category of film production-middle for her piece, “Kevanna Saves the Forest.” Audrey received an Award of Merit in the category of visual arts-intermediate for her piece, “Musical Gophers.”

The national PTA Reflections program encourages students to pursue artistic expression. The program challenges students to reflect on a theme, this year “Believe, Dream, Inspire,” and create an original work in the category of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography or visual arts.
