Berkeley Heights Man Dies in Car Crash
Steven Treich, 54, involved in Bridgewater accident last Friday.
Police are investigating whether the death of Steven Treich, a 54 year old Berkeley Heights resident, was caused by a medical emergency after he drifted off the road Friday, causing his car to turn over.
Treich was in Bridgewater, NJ on Friday around 5:15 p.m. near the Pingry School, when his Ford Excursion drifted off the road into a tree and turned over, according to police reports.
He was taken to Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, where he died, authorities said. A crew dislodged the vehicle from the accident site and removed it. He was the only person involved in the crash.

Police are waiting for the results of a toxicology report, but Capt. Robert Glen of the Warren Police said he might have suffered a heart attack that caused the crash.
He was a self-employed landscaper, and a member of the Elks Club in South Plainfield, N.J.
