John F. Mallon of Berkeley Heights, Korean War Vet, Dies at 82
Mallon served in the Air Force and repaired jets during the war.
Berkeley Heights resident John F. Mallon, who repaired F-86 Sabre Jets during the Korean War, died Dec. 27.
Mallon, 82, worked as a repair technician for Western Electric for many years and loved taking trips to Atlantic City and listening to Frank Sinatra, according to a report in NJ.com.
A Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham.
