BH Police Arrest Man for Possession of Prescription Drugs, Fake Plates, Tinted Windows

On Friday, April 05, 2013 at 10:35 am, Ptl. Nicholas Franks arrested Mohamed M. Abdelaziz, 26, of Jersey City. 

Abdelaziz was the operator of a 2000 Lincoln and was stopped for multiple motor vehicle violations on Diamond Hill Road.

Subsequent to the stop, Ptl. Franks observed Tramadole, which is prescription medication, on the front passenger seat, which Abdelaziz did not have a valid prescription for.  Abdelaziz was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters and was processed.  He was charged with possession of prescription legend drugs, along with the motor vehicle violations of fictitious license plates, tinted windows and driving while suspended. 

Abdelaziz was found to hold outstanding warrants out of Bayonne and Jersey City totaling over $8,000.  Bail was set at $2,500 and Abdelaziz was given a date to appear in Union County Superior Court. He was lodged in the Union County Jail.
