Berkeley Heights Road Closure Update; Schools Closed Nov. 2

The Berkeley Heights police department has following road closures which are still in effect as of 4:30 p.m.

Mountain Avenue from Snyder Ave to Oak Ridge Rd

Glenside Road from Hunterdon Blvd to Glenside Ave

Snyder Ave (Northbound) from Mountain Ave to Spring Ridge Dr

McMane Ave. from Diamond Hill Rd. to Ridge Dr East

Wentworth Dr. from Hillside Ave. to Fern Pl.

Countryside Dr. (top portion) from Upper Dr to Crest Dr

Lenape Lane just west of Lorraine Dr. (tree across the roadway)

Webster Dr closed at Spring Ridge Dr

Several areas of Mountain Ave passable, but only one lane or narrow two way traffic.

Numerous wires are still down throughout the Township.  Power slowly being restored by utility companies.

All Berkeley Heights schools will be closed tomorrow (11/2).

Township offices will be open tomorrow (11/2).
