Contractor Without License Prompts Police Attention

After a contractor was arrested for working without a proper license, police are asking residents to ensure any contractors hired are legitimate companies.

The New Providence Police Department is urging residents to make sure the contractors they hire are legitimate companies who are licensed in New Jersey.

This is to ensure that these companies are following the proper guidelines set forth by the state.
