A North Bergen man is accused of using his employer's credit card to finance a trip and a stint in a hotel.
Paul Taramona, 31, of North Bergen was arrested Sept. 10 and charged with third-degree theft by deception, fourth-degree fraudulent use of a credit card and third-degree credit card theft, New Providence police said.
A Mountain Avenue business reported in July that Taramona had allegedly used a credit card for a trip to San Diego, restaurant meals and a weeklong stay in Piscataway, police said.
Taramona attempted to charge more than $6,000 but was only able to charge approximately $2,200 before the unauthorized transactions were noticed, police said.
Taramona was arrested Sept. 10, processed and released with a pending court date.
