GPS, Gucci Accessories Stolen from Car, Police Say

The crime occurred on Clinton Avenue sometime between last Friday evening and Saturday morning.

New Providence Police report a number of items including a GPS navigation system were taken from a vehicle on Clinton Avenue over the weekend.

According to a department statement, police received news of the burglary of a 2006 Acura last Saturday. The crime apparently took place between 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, police said.

In addition to the navigation system, police said a Gucci purse, a Gucci sunglasses case, sunglasses, a Ralph Lauren purse and a stainless steel watch were missing from the vehicle.
