A New Providence man was found with wax folds of heroin during a traffic stop on Diamond Hill Road after the officer witnessed a drug transaction, police said.
Benjamin Flint, 21, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 30.
Officer Andrew Diamond saw Flint trying to conceal white, wax folds by stuffing them in his pocket during the traffic stop, police said.
Flint was found with three folds containing what was believed to be heroin and four empty wax folds in his pocket, police said.
Flint was arrested and released with a pending court date at the Union County Superior Court.
