Pedestrian Struck by Car on Springfield Avenue

Traffic closed between Briarwood Drive and Snyder Avenue until investigation is complete.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Springfield Avenue, closing traffic to the area, according to Berkeley Heights fire officials.

The fire department, along with police, is currently on the scene. Springfield Avenue will be closed between Briarwood Drive and Snyder Avenue till the investigation is completed.

The accident happened around 6:15 p.m., officials said. The accident is not believed to be life threatening.
