Police Investigate Reported Dog Bite From Early July

Report states victim was walking through Our Lady of Peace Church parking lot when a dog being walked by a couple bite him on his left hamstring. Police urge witnesses to come forward with any information.

Police are investigating a report of a dog bite to a resident of New Providence that occurred on July 9.

The report states the victim was walking through the parking lot of Our Lady of Peace Church on South Street when a dog being walked by a couple attacked him and bite him on his left hamstring. 

The dog was on a retractable leash at the time of the bite.  The dog is described as a small, white dog, with brown spots.  The couple is described as a white male in his 50’s that was wearing a florescent green hat and a white woman in her 50’s that was wearing a pink shirt.
