On July 2 at 11:20 a.m., Patrolman Joseph DiParisi ran a license plate check on a vehicle that had tinted windows. This vehicle had been reported stolen on June 28 from the city of Newark. Patrolman Joseph DiParisi conducted a high-risk motor vehicle stop on Diamond Hill Road without incident.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as Bryonna Wright, an 18-year-old from Newark. Her passenger was a 15-year-old who was taken into protective custody and released to a guardian.  Bryonna Wright was charged and released on her own recognizance, awaiting a superior court hearing date.
