Santa Reschedules New Providence Visit for This Saturday
Snow might have delayed Saint Nick, but it won't stop him from stopping by the New Providence Fire Department—on a fire truck.
The snow over the weekend made Santa have to put off his visit, but he will definitely be in New Providence this Saturday.
The New Providence Fire Department's traditional Santa Claus arrival on one of the department's fire trucks is slated for Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Santa will be perched on Ladder 3 as he rides through town prior to his arrival at the firehouse on Floral Avenue. Parents are encouraged to bring their camera for pictures of their kids with Santa.
There will be sweets, too, for Santa's guests. The Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary will be holding their annual bake sale during his visit.
