Borough to Hold Senior Health Fair

New Providence senior citizens are invited, free of charge, to a wide range of health screenings on May 8.


New Providence will be holding its annual Senior Citizen Health Fair on Wednesday, May 8, and the borough's senior citizens are invited.

The fair will be held at the New Providence Senior Center, located at 15 East 4th Street, from 8 am to 11 am.

Seniors can obtain a variety of free medical screenings. Tests include blood glucose, cholesterol, and blood chemistry screenings (a 12-hour fast is required) and there will be podiatry and chiropractic screenings.

The fair is open to New Providence residents age 62 and over, and refreshments will be served.

Pre-registration is required. Call the New Providence Health Nurse at 973-743-1049 or the New Providence Senior Center at 973-665-0046.
