Former Borough Resident Elected as Mayor of Long Hill Township

Mike Mazzucco owns an accounting firm in Chatham and lived in New Providence for 37 years.

On Jan. 3, 2012, the Long Hill Township Committee elected Mike Mazzucco to the position of Mayor for 2012.

Mazzucco was first elected to the Township Committee in 2008 for a three-year term and was reelected again in 2011 for a subsequent three-year term.

Mazzucco is the owner of the accounting firm Michael Mazzucco and Associates, CPAs, in Chatham, NJ. Born and raised in New Providence, Mazzucco resided in town for 37 years before moving to Gillette in 2002. His father's family owned one of the last fully operational greenhouses on Floral Avenue in the borough.
