New Providence Republican Committee Screening for Vacated Council Seat

Vacancy left after Councilman Alan Lesnewich named NJ Superior Court Judge

On Thursday, April 4th, the New Providence Republican Committee (NPRC) will begin screening candidates to fulfill Councilman Lesnewich's unexpired term on the New Providence Borough Council.

In accordance with New Jersey State Election Law, the NPRC must screen and present the New Providence Borough Council with three candidates. The Council will then choose one of the three nominees to fulfill the unexpired term.

All registered republicans residing in New Providence in good civil standing are welcomed to screen for this appointment. Interested parties should contact NPRC Chairman Allen Morgan at (908) 403-8613. Candidates should prepare a short bio, a resume highlighting their community services, contributions, and involvements, provide references, and prepare a short presentation.
