DOG OF THE WEEK – Help Bentley find his Forever Home

1-1/2 year old male Labrador Retriever/ Mastiff mix needs a home, will it be yours?

Bentley is a 1 1/2 years old male Labrador Retriever/ Mastiff mix. This “gentle giant” is 90 pounds of muscle and love. During a recent trip to Georgia, Home for Good representatives discovered Bentley at a County animal control facility. He was tied to a tree stump all by himself. The facility officer said they could not shelter Bentley because they had too many dogs and did not want to euthanize him. Home for Good arranged for Bentley to be transported to New Jersey for adoption.

Bentley is very loving and learning to walk on a leash. He has the classic big block head of a Labrador. He also has one white foot with black speckles. He has a very handsome white chest that makes him look like an old style English butler in his frock coat...hence the name BENTLEY. He chases balls and brings them back to do it all over again. Bentley just needs to feel safe and loved in a warm home. He is up to date with vaccinations, neutered and micro chipped.

For more information on Bentley or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue visit the Home for Good website (www.homeforgooddogs.org), call (908) 598-8212 or email info@hfgdr.org. If you are considering adopting Bentley or one of the other Home for Good dogs, please complete an online application. A pre-approved application is required for all “meet and greets” and adoptions.
