DOG OF THE WEEK - Help Doc Find His Forever Home

This 2-1/2-year-old Labrador retriever mix needs a home. Will it be yours?

Doc is a two-and one-half-year-old Labrador retriever mix. He is calm, well-behaved, gentle and friendly. Doc loves to play, especially tug-of-war, and is a very loyal dog. He loves being in the company of the family.

Doc is neutered, up-to-date with his routine shots and house trained. He is a great companion and a wonderful family dog. Doc knows many commands (sit, stay, come, leave it), and is eager and excited to practice training. He is motivated by food and is easily trained with treats as a reward. Doc is not an alpha dog, but rather submissive. He plays well with other dogs. He walks nicely on a leash.

For more information on Doc or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue, visit the Home for Good website, call (908) 598-8212 or email contacthfg@gmail.com. If you are considering adopting Doc or one of the other Home for Good dogs, please complete an online application at www.homeforgooddogs.org. A pre-approved application is required for all “meet and greets” and adoptions.
