DOG OF THE WEEK - Help Paige Find Her Forever Home

This ten-week-old black Labrador retriever mix needs a home. Will it be yours?

Paige is 10 weeks old. When she came to New Jersey off a transport from Georgia, she was very lethargic and on the brink of death with a 104.7 fever. After several days of antibiotics and IV fluids, she turned around.

Once she began to run and play, it was noticed that she was walking with a slight limp. After a series of x-rays, it was determined that she had a broken bone in her leg and is having leg surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialist, in Tinton Falls, in September to repair her leg so that she can live a normal, happy and healthy life. Her foster mom says she is the sweetest dog she has ever fostered. She loves her four-legged foster sister, cats and all children.

For more information on Paige or any of the other dogs available through , please visit the Home for Good website, call (908) 598-8212 or email contacthfg@gmail.com. If you are considering adopting Paige or one of the other Home for Good dogs, please complete an online application at www.homeforgooddogs.org. A pre-approved application is required for all “meet and greets” and adoptions.
