DOG OF THE WEEK — Help Rudy Find His Forever Home

This 12-week-old Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix needs a home. Will it be yours?

Home for Good representatives came across Rudy on a recent trip to Georgia. He and his brother were the surviving members of their litter (four others had died). This poor little guy had a massive abscess. Unfortunately, the veterinarian removed all the skin, which made it impossible for Rudy to heal properly in the dirt and mud!

Rudy was transported to New Jersey last week, where he is currently being fostered with a Home for Good volunteer. Rudy is a wonderful dog who's had a rough start in life. Rudy will need another surgery in the coming weeks to reattach his fur. He needs his skin reconnected to close up the abscess.

Home for Good has set up a special fund to pay for the surgery.  If you would like to donate to help cover his medical costs or to consider providing him with a forever home, please visit their website www.homeforgooddogs.org or email contacthfg@gmail.com
