Berkeley Heights college students who are home on winter break can put all that leisure time to a good cause.

The Berkeley Heights Board of Education is holding a College Student Forum in which township students who have moved on to college are invited to relate their experiences to their younger high school colleagues.

The forum will be held on Monday, Jan. 6 at 1 p.m. in the Media Center of Governor Livingston High School.

Judith Rattner, Berkeley Heights Superintendent of Schools, will serve as the moderator for this event, which will involve recent Governor Livingston High School graduates who are currently matriculating at various colleges and universities.  The college students will discuss their respective college experiences while providing advice and feedback to current Berkeley Heights administrators on what can be done to provide GLHS students with the best possible preparation for college study.

Any Governor Livingston graduate who is currently enrolled in college to actively participate and contribute to the discussion in this event.  GL alumni who wish to participate should email Mrs. Rattner at collegestudent@bhpsnj.org by no later than Thursday, Jan. 2.
