Children's Appreciation Week Features 'Crazy Hair Day' and 'Backwards Day'
Fanciful activities offered at Beechwood and Deerfield Schools.
The Mountainside Parents & Teachers Association sponsored 'Crazy Hair Day' at both Beechwood and Deerfield Schools recently as as part of the Children's Appreciation Week.
The students attended a laser light show assembly and were treated to 'crazy' twisted pretzels.
'Crazy Hair Day' was followed by: 'Backwards Day,' 'Favorite Hat Day,' and 'School Spirit Day.'

On 'Backwards Day' students were encouraged to wear their clothes backwards.
Last Thursday, was 'head and shoulders above the rest.'
Students were encouraged to wear their favorite sports gear/hat to school.
On 'Spirit Day,' students were encouraged to dress in school spirit clothes/school colors.
