Introduction to Chamber Music Workshop - Register Now

Have you ever wanted to learn to play chamber music in a stress free environment?  The New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra is offering a program just for you.  The Introduction to Chamber Music Workshop is open to all string and woodwind players wishing to learn about chamber music.

We provide coaching by professional musicians in a relaxed and non-competitive atmosphere.  Music appropriate for your playing skills will be provided.   Our encouraging coaching staff, under the direction of Martin Steinberg, cellist, will help you experience the joys of playing chamber music.  While this workshop will be focusing on beginner and intermediate players, we welcome more advanced players as well.

The workshops take place on Thursday evenings beginning July 5, - 26 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Wharton Music Center, 60 Locust Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ.  The cost for the entire session is $125.  For more information please go to www.njio.org or email info@njio.org.

The New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra (NJIO) was founded in 1994 to Bridge the Generations through Music by providing an opportunity for musicians of varying ages and abilities to study and perform orchestral music. NJIO has over 100 members ranging in age from 6 to over 80, with a wide variety of musical talents and backgrounds. Seniors and students work side by side, with more experienced players mentoring their fellow performers.
