New Providence Garden Club Ikebana Demonstration to Benefit Earthquake Victims

The April 11 meeting of the New Providence Garden Club will feature a lecture and demonstration of ichiyo ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, by Anna Najada. All donations for the lecture will be given to the red Cross to support the earthquake and Tsunami victims in Japan. Ms. Nakada, a Master of the IchiyoSchool of Ikebana, will demponstrate and give instruction on the ikebane technique.

The program will be held at New Providence Memorial Library in the Conti Family Community Room at 6:30 p.m. The New Providence Garden Club requests a donation of $10, which will in turn be donated to support the relief efforts in Japan.
