GL Highlander Booster Club Awards 8 Scholarships To Athletes

Six athletes received a $500 scholarship, while two other athletes received a $750 scholarship.

The Highlander Booster Club recently awarded six $500 scholarships to three male and three female athletes at Governor Livingston High School.  

These athletes exhibit good sportsmanship, good character and leadership. The six winners, each dedicated to their sport and their team, are:

Also, in honor of Governor Livingston’s first Athletic Director, The Michael Suchena Outstanding Athlete Memorial Award is sponsored by the Highlander Booster Club and is presented to the outstanding male and female athlete in the graduating class who exemplifies the best in sportsmanship, and the American ideals of leadership and fair play on and off the athletic field. 

The recipients have served as role models to their teammates, displaying the leadership qualities that inspire others to be all that they can be.

This year, the winners of a $750 scholarship are Anthony Manganiello and Kelly Goense.
