GL Pathway Fundraising Paves Way for Project Graduation

Orders are being taken for those who wish to participate in Phase II of the effort.

Recent visitors to the Governor Livingston High School campus in Berkeley Heights are greeted by a new sight: the newly installed Phase I of Highlander Way. The 65-foot-long section nearest Sword Rock is a fundraising project for the high school's Parent Teacher Organization's Project Graduation committee—it will feature paver bricks paid for and personalized for donors with proceeds benefiting Project Graduation.

Organizers said Phase I of the Highlander Way project was ready in time for this year's GLHS and Columbia Middle School commencements, and work on Phase II is the next step in the effort. When complete, Highlander Way will replace the entire asphalt pathway from the school building to near the flagpole at Sword Rock.

All GLHS alumni, family and friends are invited to participate in Highlander Way by ordering a personalized paver to commemorate one's graduation, to honor family and friends, to memorialize achievements or to recognize individuals.
