Salt Brook School Students Win State PTA Reflections Awards

Kedhar Narayan and Henry Pyne were selected to represent Salt Brook at the state level in the PTA Reflections program and both won awards.

Two Salt Brook Elementary School students, fifth grader Kedhar Narayan and second grader Henry Pyne, were selected to represent Salt Brook at the state level in the PTA Reflections program and both won awards. Kedhar received an Award of Merit in the category of musical composition-intermediate for his composition “Ocean Waves.” Henry received an Award of Excellence in the category of film production-primary for his film titled “Here Comes the Treat.”

Through the national Reflections program, the PTA encourages students to pursue artistic expression. The program challenges students to reflect on a theme, this year “The Magic of a Moment,” and create an original work in the category of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography or visual arts.
