Union County College Postpones New Athletic Field Plans

In exchange for help from county freeholders to find athletes a home field, Union County College has decided to postpone their plans to construct a $1.4 million soccer and lacrosse field on their Cranford campus, according to nj.com.

The proposed plan drew criticism from residents who claimed the field would produce an array of problems from flooding to a drop in property value, according tonj.com.
