Union County Town Among First In Anti-Bullying App Pilot Program

Two Union County schools will be among some of the first in the country to participate in a pilot program for an anti-bullying smartphone app aimed at cyberbullying and online harassment, according to nj.com.

Both the David Brearly Middle and High School in Kenilworth have just been introduced to StopIt, a free app proving students with the power to report online bullying and harassment either by name or anonymously. The app also allows students to reach out to police, teachers, coaches and a 24-hour help line, according to nj.com.
