Berkeley Heights Students Awarded Caddie Scholarships

Each receive $3,500 toward college costs.

Two students from Berkeley Heights have been awarded a New Jersey State Golf Association Caddie Scholarship.

Michael Kane, who is going to Notre Dame, and Alexander Max, a student at University of California-Berkeley, each received at least $3,500 toward college costs.

“Last year, all existing scholarships were increased by $500 for the upcoming academic year,” said a release from the association. “This action is a continuance of the foundation’s long-range goal to keep pace with the continued increase in tuition costs. “
