Gov. Livingston Hockey Team Upsets Cranford in County Cup

Late goal gives Highlanders 5-4 win.

Ryan Grum has been the team leader for the Governor Livingston hockey team all season. Despite just three wins entering the first round of the Union County Cup, Grum and his teammates were determined to make a mark on the season, and they did just that on Monday against Cranford.

With the game tied at 4-4, it was Grum who stepped-up with a goal in the third period to break the tie and lead Gov. Livngston to a 5-4 victory over the Cougars at Warinanco Ice Rink in Roselle.

No matter what happens from here, it was a comeback to remember, with the Highlanders trailing 3-1 after the first period.
