The Score: 2-0 Scotch Plains
During the first half, both teams seemed to be looking for that one opportunity of a defensive breakdown, but none took place and it ended at 0-0. The second half was a totally different story. Scotch Plains came out with an aggressive approach and were rewarded with a penalty shot (albeit controversial) which they converted and took an early 1-0 lead. Gov Livingston responded and had a golden opportunity to tie the game off a free kick but failed to capitalize. Scotch Plains then took control for good and scored the second goal to ice the game.
