New Providence Recreation Adult Programs Begin Today

Adult programs begin Today, Sept. 4. Classes run for 11 weeks — that's a short commitment of your time to improve your health.

If you've never taken any of our programs, contact the Recreation Office (908-464-4430) about trying a class for free. As you can see on the list below, we have something for everyone... whether you are an avid fitness buff or someone who wants to start taking better care of themselves.

Daytime offerings

  • Adult Jazz (new*) — Monday after work 4:45 p.m. (Jessica)
  • Boot Camp — Monday, Wednesday, Friday early morning (Beth)
  • Cardio Combo — Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings (Beth, Mike, & Stephanie)   
  • Barre Sculpt — Monday and Wednesday mornings  (LaRonda)
  • Drawing & Painting — Wednesday morning (Marjan)
  • Yoga — Wednesday morning (LaRonda)

Evening offerings

  • Adult Jazz (new*) — Monday after work 4:45 p.m. (Jessica)
  • Yoga — Tuesday and Wednesday evening (LaRonda)
  • Body Shaping — Tuesday and Thursday evening (Mike)
  • Women’s Open Gym Volleyball – Mon evening
  • Men’s Pick-up Basketball – Tues, Wed, Thurs evenings

We welcome Stephanie Graff, Certified Fitness Instructor, this season as our Friday instructor for Cardio Combo. Mike Czech, our evening Body Shaping teacher, will be joining our daytime staff and will be leading the Wednesday Cardio Combo class.
