Two New Providence Athletes Place at Indoor Track State Championship

Michael Closs and Chris Aresco finished strong at the championship, which took place on Feb. 16 in Toms River.

Two boys from New Providence placed in New Jersey High School Indoor Track and Field Group 1 State Championship in Toms River on Saturday, Feb. 16.

Michael Closs is the Group 1 NJ State Champion, placing 1st in Pole Vault. Chris Aresco placed 5th in the New Jersey Indoor Track and Field Group 1 State Championship in the 800-meter run.
