VIDEO: Gov. Livingston Falls in UCT final to Roselle Catholic

It was quite a run for the Gov. Livingston girls' varsity basketball team, but their dream of earning the program's first county championship in school history came to an end at the hands of top-seeded Roselle Catholic Sunday afternoon at Harwood Arena on the campus of Kean University.

The Highlanders battled back to take the lead in the low-scoring affair, which was dominated by outstanding defense from both sides, but in the end the Lady Lions took control on their way to their third straight county crown.

GL thrilled their fans with exciting basketball leading up to the championship contest. They will play host to Shore Regional in the first round of the state tournament tonight.
