Located in the heart of downtown Berkeley Heights, the Trap Rock is an upsacle restaurant and microbrewery. Mostly by word of mouth, this warm, sosphisticated, comfortable European ski lodge-style bar and restaurant has been a favorite of the locals since 1997, serving classic American cuisine with a Southern influence.  Menu choices include baby back ribs and Southern fried chicken. The talents of new chef Andy Raiside are showcased in the recently revised menu, and the full bar includes wine and spirits.

One of my favorites in the area for it's food selection (although a bit limited) and quality; brewed onsite beers; friendly staff; valet parking; and quaint environment. Not too much competition for this place in the area so they better watch out, but one of my favorites for some time.
