Elementary Schools Gear Up for Book Fairs
Annual book fairs, which get students excited about reading, offer book selections for children and adults alike while raising money for the schools.
The annual book fairs at Salt Brook and Allen W. Roberts Elementary schools will take place this week. Sponsored by the Parent Teacher Association, the fairs get students excited about reading while raising funds for the schools. The Salt Brook School book fair will take place in the school's lobby and will run today through Thursday, open 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Book Fair Family Night is tomorrow from 6 p.m.– 8 p.m. Books aren't just for elementary school students; there's something for everyone at the fair. "We have family night on Wednesday evening and we put out some adult selections then," said Principal Jeannie Maier of the Salt Brook School.
