Coppola's Ristorante & Pizzeria Crowned Best in New Providence

On Monday, we asked you to voice your opinion and vote for your favorite pizzeria in New Providence. Well, the results are in and the winner is Coppola’s Ristorante & Pizzeria. Sal Coppola, who opened his restaurant in New Providence in 1986 and now runs it with his brother, Francesco, said “it feels good” to be voted the best pizzeria in the borough. So what’s the key to his scrumptious pizza? “Simple ingredients and we work with a passion, work with a love,” Coppola said. “It’s mostly family recipes but I believe, in order to have a good pizza, you have to use the best ingredients and the simple stuff.” Coppola said he receives many of his ingredients from Roma Food in Piscataway and Restaurant Depot in Union. “They have a lot of stuff …

Not only is the food the best but the service is too. In the years that we've been customers we have never had anything short of stellar meals. My favorite is the shrimp Fra Diavolo & cavetelli.
