Fire Tears Through Corrinne Terrace Home
A fire caused extensive damage to a Corrine Terrace home this afternoon, officials said.
A fire tore through 1151 Corrine Terrace in Mountainside this afternoon, badly damaging the basement and other areas of the home. A resident who lives across from 1151 contacted police at noon on Friday to report the fire. When Police first arrived on scene they saw large amounts of smoke pouring out from the roof of the home, according to Mountainside Police Captain Richard Osieja. “The house has sustained extensive damage and it appears the fire started in the basement area,” Osieja said.
