The NY Jets coach, who lives in Summit, 'did not deny causing the accident' after allegedly going through a red light.
New York Jets head football coach Rex Ryan of Summit, told authorities he was trying “to beat the light” when he apparently caused a minor three-car crash during the evening rush hour last week in Bethlehem, Pa., police said. The accident occurred at the intersection of Wyandotte and W. Third streets, just south of the Hill-to-Hill Bridge on Jan. 14 at 6:13 p.m. One eyewitness and the driver of one of the other two cars in the crash told police they saw a 2013 red Ford Mustang, which Ryan was driving, go through a red light as it traveled west along W. Area real estate agents say gated communities are scarce if that's his wish.
Is Tim Tebow trying to take Mark Sanchez's job and invade his neighborhood? No longer the starter, rumors began to fly Tuesday night that Tebow would be traded, with the Jets considered a possible destination. On Wednesday, FOXSports' Jay Glazer broke the news on Twitter that Tebow had in fact been traded to the New York Jets …

He admitted he was wrong -- that the heat of the battle got the best of him. While only a section of the more than 70,000 fans in attendance at MetLife Stadium Sunday night heard New York Jets coach Rex Ryan tell a heckling fan to "shut the --- up" with a profanity thrown into his quote -- more than 50,000 were able to see the incident on Youtube, caught on camera as he was heading into the tunnel with his team trailing the rival New England Patriots at halftime. While Ryan has since apologized, the incident of the video was taken down shortly after midnight. So we ask -- do you think Ryan's emotional response was a big deal, or are people making a mountain out of a molehill. Take the Patch Poll on this page and let us know.
