10 Berkeley Heights students win writing contest.

Ten eighth-grade students at Berkeley Heights' Columbia Middle School are celebrating a huge distinction announced this week, according to a published report.

The children were honored as winners of a Library of Congress writing contest, said the Independent Press.

Columbia Middle's students were among more than 50,000 kids across the country who penned essays for the national Letters About Literature competitionContest run by the Library of Congress.
